International Carrom Federation in its Congress held on 5.10.2022 at Hotel De Baron, Langkawi, Malaysia has amended the follow clause in Laws of Carrom.
Existing Clause in Laws of Carrom
VI 40.
There shall be two trial boards only after the toss and before start of the match, one for each player or pair
This clause is Deleted. No trial board is allowed.
VIII. 51
If the turn is availed by a player who plays out of turn, before the Umpire could control, he shall lose the board by the number of C/m and Queen as were on the C/B at the time of making the stroke etc etc
This is deleted. There shall be no out of turn.
The above amendment shall be effective from 5.10.2022.
